Intas Intacef Tazo 562.50 mg Injection
Intacef Tazo 562.50 mg Injection is a broad-spectrum antibiotic injection manufactured by Intas Pharmaceuticals. It contains a combination of Cefepime (500 mg), a fourth-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, and Tazobactam (62.5 mg), a beta-lactamase inhibitor. This combination enhances antibacterial activity and helps combat resistant bacterial infections.
This injectable antibiotic is commonly used in the treatment of severe bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, intra-abdominal infections, and hospital-acquired infections. Tazobactam protects Cefepime from bacterial enzymes, improving its effectiveness against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
Intacef Tazo Injection is administered intravenously under medical supervision and should be used strictly as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
