Neo Kumfurt Tik Chik Fipronil & S-Methoprene Spot-On for Dogs | Flea, Tick & Lice Treatment
FOR DOGS ONLY — do not apply a dog pipette to a cat. Pipettes are sized by canine body weight and cats need a feline-specific product at a feline dose. If any is applied to a cat by mistake, wash the area with mild detergent and contact a veterinarian. Match the pipette to your dog's current weight and never split one pipette between two dogs or combine smaller ones. Do not use on puppies below the minimum age stated on the pack, or on sick, debilitated, or convalescing dogs, and consult your veterinarian before use on pregnant or lactating bitches. External use only — apply to intact skin, never to broken, irritated, or recently clipped skin, and keep it away from the eyes and mouth. Apply where your dog cannot lick it, between the shoulder blades, and keep treated dogs apart from other pets, and especially from cats, until the area is completely dry, since another animal grooming the site can ingest it. Licking the wet site may cause drooling. Keep children away from the treated dog until dry, wash your hands after applying, and dispose of the used pipette safely out of reach. Contact your veterinarian if you see persistent irritation, hair loss at the site, vomiting, tremors, or unusual dullness. Keep out of reach of children and away from fish tanks and water sources. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Neo Kumfurt Tik Chik Fipronil & S-Methoprene Spot-On for Dogs | Flea, Tick & Lice Treatment
Tik Chik is a topical spot-on for dogs combining fipronil 9.8% w/v with S-methoprene 8.8% w/v, treating fleas, ticks, and lice and breaking the flea life cycle to stop reinfestation. The two-ingredient approach is the point of this product. Fipronil deals with the adult parasites you can see, but adults are only a small fraction of a flea problem: the overwhelming majority of the population in an infested home is eggs, larvae, and pupae sitting in bedding, carpet, and floor cracks. S-methoprene is an insect growth regulator that stops flea eggs and larvae developing, so the next generation never arrives. Killing adults alone is why so many owners feel they are treating fleas forever. Available in four pipette sizes covering dogs from under 10kg up to 60kg.
Composition
- Fipronil 9.8% w/v — a phenylpyrazole that disrupts the parasite's nervous system, killing adult fleas, ticks, and lice
- S-Methoprene 8.8% w/v — an insect growth regulator that prevents flea eggs and larvae developing into adults
How It Works
- Applied to the skin, the solution spreads across the body surface and collects in the oil glands, which release it gradually over the following weeks.
- Fipronil blocks chloride channels in the parasite's nervous system, causing paralysis and death — parasites are killed over the hours following application rather than on contact.
- S-methoprene mimics an insect growth hormone, so eggs fail to hatch and larvae cannot mature.
- Together they clear the infestation on the dog and prevent the next generation from establishing.

Treat the Environment Too
If you are dealing with an active infestation, treating the dog alone rarely ends it. Wash bedding on a hot wash, vacuum carpets, floor cracks, and under furniture thoroughly and empty the vacuum outside, and treat every dog and cat in the household with an appropriate product for its own species and weight. An untreated animal in the house keeps reseeding the problem.
