Vetina Pentorse 100 is a canine veterinary injection containing pentosan polysulfate sodium. It is used within a veterinarian-directed treatment plan for non-infectious inflammatory joint disease, including canine osteoarthritis.

Important Precautions

• Pentosan polysulfate has anticoagulant effects; discuss bleeding or clotting disorders and any planned surgery with your veterinarian.
• Tell your veterinarian about all medicines, particularly aspirin, other NSAIDs and corticosteroids.
• Veterinary assessment is essential where there is infection, liver or kidney impairment, pregnancy, lactation or skeletal immaturity.
• Not for self-directed treatment of septic arthritis.
• Adverse reactions are possible. Contact your veterinarian if your dog becomes unwell after administration.
